What is BBL Broadband Light?
BBL is an innovative technology that sets new standards for skin conditions associated with aging, active life-styles, and sun damage. BBL energy allows us to precisely treat age and sun spots, small facial veins, and many other skin conditions. Your treatment will be tailored to match your skin type and your desired results. Any area of your body can be treated. The most common areas are those most exposed to the damaging effects of sunlight. The most popular treatments are on the face, neck, back of the hands, chest and shoulders.
Our ProFractional laser offers dramatic results and quick healing for patients interested in improving wrinkles, acne scars and skin texture with little to no downtime.
Unlike previous technology that removes the entire surface area, ProFractional removes narrow-diameter channels of the skin, leaving much of the surface intact. Fractional ablation of these channels stimulates our body's wound healing response by encouraging fibroblasts to produce new, healthy collagen and elastin.
This end result is increased skin turgor (elasticity) and a healthy, even skin surface. ProFractional works very well as a stand-alone procedure and is often used in combination with other treatments.
Laser Treatments include Laser Hair Reduction, Skin Resurfacing, Skin Tightening, Removal of Vascular Lesions and Age Spots
Laser treatments are rapidly becoming a mainstay in the treatment process for rejuvenation. The technology has changed dramatically in the last few years and lasers are continuously being updated and developed to improve their effectiveness and broaden their range of applications.
If you have questions about laser treatments or if you would like to know if you are a candidate for treatment please contact our office today to schedule an appointment with one of our certified laser technicians. We are conveniently located in Chanhassen, Minnesota on Highway 5 and Dell Road.
Microdermabrasion removes the outermost layers of dead skin cells, revealing the fresher, more radiant skin beneath the surface. It is performed with a small, handheld device that blows very fine crystals across the surface of the skin and gently suctions away the exfoliated cells.
What is involved with treatment?
The skin is first cleansed. Next, the microdermabrasion is performed. The handpiece of the machine is moved slowly over the skin until the entire area is thouroughly exfoliated. Then, special areas such as excessive pigmentation can be addressed by administering further passes over these areas for deeper exfoliation. Finally, a soothing hydrating cream is gently applied. Patients who are being treated for hyperpigmentation will also have a sunscreen applied. A full facial microdermabrasion is recommended.
What conditions can be treated with microdermabrasion?
• fine lines, wrinkles
• age spots
• sun damage
• blackheads and acne
• dehydrated, dull skin
• hormonal pigmentation
• oily skin, large pores
Often, the best results are achieved from combination therapy. Depending on your skin condition, you may need a serious of 4-10 treatments. We recommend spacing them 7-14 days apart. Microdermabrasion can be combined with chemical peels, Botox, and topical agents such as Retin A, and other alpha-hydroxy acids. Our professional staff will determine the ideal combination therapy that is best suitable for you. Beyond Beauty Care plans are available at special pricing.
If you are unhappy with the way your skin has aged and you want to greatly reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, BOTOX cosmetic is a simple, non-surgical option that can help you look and feel years younger. BOTOX Cosmetic treatments are one of the greatest advancements yet in the treatment and prevention of facial wrinkles. Millions of BOTOX Cosmetic procedures have been performed, making it one of the most popular physician-administered aesthetic procedures in the United States.
BOTOX Cosmetic can be used before or after any cosmetic surgery procedure, or in conjunction with other med spa services. There is no recovery period, and you can even have a treatment on your lunch break. Wrinkles will smooth out a few days after treatment and typical results last about 4 months. As time goes on, the results may begin to last longer. The effect on forehead wrinkles, frown lines and crow's feet can be remarkable - and BOTOX Cosmetic can even be used to elevate drooping eyebrows.
If you have questions about BOTOX® Cosmetic or filler and would like to know if you are a candidate for treatment, please contact our office today to schedule an appointment with Julie Jacques, RN, our specialized nurse injectionist.

A chemical peel is a treatment to remove damaged outer layers of skin with the use of a chemical solution. Chemical peels are classified into three major categories: light, medium, and deep. Within these categories, the chemical solution that is used can be adjusted for strength, making it possible to deliver just the right level of treatment for each individual.
